Teknopedia – If you’re always on the go and want to check your email, Apple’s iPhone is for you. In my experience, the iPhone is very effective at handling all types of communication. By the way, I’m sure you’ve heard that Gmail is now the largest email client in the world. This is because Gmail provides more storage space for its account holders and the email interface is very simple and easy to use. Like Google search, the Gmail service doesn’t place ads on all of your pages, and you can quickly find the information or email you need.

That’s why Gmail and iPhone work so well together. In terms of functionality, Gmail and iPhone are equally effective. Now you may be wondering how to integrate your Gmail account with your iPhone. This article describes how to set up IMAP for Gmail on your iPhone.

With the IMAP app, Gmail account holders can retrieve and read their emails in any compatible offline email reader with iPhone users. Adding this protocol to your iPhone for strict Gmail accounts was recently announced by Google. The IMAP app is very easy to install and run on your iPhone, allowing you to seamlessly integrate your iPhone with your Gmail account.

When you create an IMAP account, you must first sign in to your Gmail account and enable IMAP. To do this, simply log into your Gmail account and go to Settings. Under Settings, click Forwarding and POP/IMAP, then click Enable IMAP.

Next, grab your iPhone and tap Settings then Mail. Don’t forget to click Add Account. Once you’ve done that, don’t click on the Gmail option as it’s not updated to the latest IMAP settings. Click More instead. Once done, start entering your information. Enter your name and you will be asked to enter a hostname, for example: imap.gmail.com. After entering the hostname, you will be asked to enter the full address of your Gmail account, including @gmail.com at the end of your username, for example: [email protected]

Once the incoming hostname is set, switch to the outgoing mail server or SMTP. For hostname enter: smtp.gmail.com Then save all changes. Then you’re done! You can simply set up your Gmail account on your iPhone so you can see all your Gmail messages, old and new.

It’s amazing to see how technology works. And one of them is the ability to check your email from anywhere, which is very important in our fast-paced society. iPhone users, business professionals, or students who need constant access to their email accounts will find it convenient because they can now check email right from their iPhone.

Not being able to respond to emails quickly always has consequences, both professionally and socially. With iPhone, you’ll never miss an email and stay connected with the people you care about… wherever you are.
